As you may have noticed, we recently revised our branding and all our divisions are now branded as Perceptions Press. This comprises Castle Carrington Publishing, All Genders Press, Stephanie Castle Publications, and Transgender Publishing.

This guide was produced by our branding expert to aid you, our author, in advertising your work. While our publishing firm does its best to share your work, it is ultimately the authors’ job to market their books. Authors are encouraged to participate in promoting and sharing their books in order to increase sales. In the future, we plan to set up a shared fund for running paid advertisements to highlight the works of our authors on our company’s social media platforms. Social Media – If you are interested in increasing your sales and expanding your audience, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are excellent platforms to utilize for book promotion.

  • Create a dedicated social media page to promote your book(s) or use your personal account.
  • Regularly post engaging content related to your book(s), such as:
    • Images of you holding your book(s)
    • Images of your book(s) with various backgrounds
    • Reviews from readers and friends.
    • Quotes from your book(s)
  • Use hashtags like #book #novel #author #perceptionspress #fiction #biography #lifehistory #bookstagram #booklover #reading #bookstagrammer #bookworm or other relevant words.
  • Tag our social media handle @PerceptionsPress in your posts.

Videos (keep these videos short, maybe 2 to 5 minutes):

  • Read excerpts from your book(s).
  • Share the story behind why you wrote the book(s).
  • Provide insights about each character in the book(s).
  • Share intriguing cliffhangers that encourage viewers to purchase your book(s) to learn more!

Other Ideas:

  • Start a Newsletter.
  • Create an Author Website:
    • Build a site or blog to showcase your book(s) and engage with readers.
    • Include links to our website or mention us in your ‘About’ section.
    • Write blog posts or articles related to the genre or themes of your book(s) and mention our publishing group.

Start a book club:

  • Read books from our other authors and consider reviewing them.

Attend Events to promote your book:

  • Find local book events and bookstores that may be interested in hosting you for readings and book signings.
    • Our team is actively working to locate book events.

Guest Blogging and Podcasting:

  • Be a guest on relevant blogs and podcasts.
  • Mention our publishing group to establish credibility with your book(s).
  • Share links to these episodes and tag us!

Online Book Communities and Forums:

  • Participate actively in online book communities and forums.
  • When discussing your book(s) or engaging in conversations, mention our organization.
